Superhero set: Ibon
The other day, I was looking for a "barong", which is a formal Filipino dress shirt. At the time of this set, there were only three definite barongs, one of which was blue. I've chosen that for this piece. I also chose to give him a pair of barongs (the shortswords/daggers) for this piece. I made an alternate outfit, which is less formal and more universal in the middle. The one on the very right is civilian wear.

This person is proud of their Filipino background, but lives in a Western world. Their favorite color is blue, but avoids wearing blue a lot to try and hide the fact that they're a superhero.

Established Superhero Set 1?

Established Superhero Set 1?
I got bored... I started by looking up Nightwing's mask. Then I decided to just do the whole outfit. I had to go through my old sets to find a stick. Originally, he was dual-wielding, but I got rid of one so Raven could have hair. He also has a "shuriken" to represent a birdarang on his right arm.

My next person was Superboy. The model is practically female fanservice, and it worked. Interestingly, he's 5'7" in some sources. Granted, he's like "five" in some timelines.

The next person was Kid Flash. I couldn't find a proper yellow mask, so I had to dig up that old sunglass set, which, whether or not makes it funny, makes it look like he's got a ^-^ face. I actually knew the wetsuit I wanted to use for him though.

Afterwards, we get to Wonder Girl. This is where I had to figure out where lines needed to be drawn. Do I show off her assets, or do I use one of the few tasteful articles of clothing when looking up her adult counterpart? In the end, I found a different shirt that implied "curves" without showing them while show her midriff. This established her to be Cassie... that, and the jeans. Seems more like a Cassie thing. What? o.0 Oh right, the blonde wig says it's Cassie. =P

After that, I felt like there was extra room. I did my best to make Static. In my defense, he's had a lot of costume changes. It's also surprisingly difficult to find someone with his hairstyle on this site. The picture I used has longer hair. I couldn't even find a "trenchcoat" or "long coat" that was open so I could insert a shirt in. Still, I like my rendition. It's inspired by one of the outfits that actually made it in the show, hence the black shirt.

Finally, I added Raven. Cloaks are not easy to find with a hood up. The yellow belt is added in place of whatever may or may not be there depending on the design. Her chakra is too large, too, but whatever. I think it still has her looks down good enough. By adding Raven, (at this point in time) I have made the distinction that this isn't a Young Justice cartoon thing. Virgil has shown up, but he hasn't become Static on screen, either. Having him, Superboy, and Cassie (as opposed to Donna Troy), helps make this not seem like a Teen Titans cartoon thing either.

*edit* I switched Raven's hair with a darker, more "realistic" natural purple that better suits her.

Villain/Antihero Set 1

Villain/Antihero Set 1
Originally, I found six different masks. This was originally supposed to be an anti-hero thing, but the grim reaper thing ruins it with his sharp weapons. They were originally supposed to be terrifying in order to scare the would-be baddies for their explanation. You can still look at it that way if you want, depending on how you want to draw the line.

The first on the left is supposed to be a BDSM person. Them having masks partially gave me the idea to do this. He has a higher threshold of pain, and he uses a whip. If you've ever seen Speed Grapher, then imagine a "good" reimagination of a BDSM person.

The second person has some Gordon Freeman in him. He's wearing a hazmat suit and wields a crowbar. He's supposed to be resistant to poisons even outside the suit, which is for show, but the chances of a realistic fight with hazardous materials is slight to nil.

The third person has a skull mask. Unfortunately, black on black makes it look silly. It's also not a great grim reaper cloak, but I couldn't find one easily that was hooded.

The fourth person is just a simple scarecrow. He's able to heal, meaning puncture wounds recover.

The fifth person actually has two of the masks I was going to use. I wanted one person to have face paint, and I wanted another person to be based on a clown. The wig actually determined the gender.

Rainy/Fall Hearts for Women
I just made this because of the rainy weather and finding the heart-shaped umbrellas.

Bookshelf
At first, I wanted to show how expressive a bookshelf could be by putting different books, comic books, video games, and DVD collections onto one. Then I added some other touches once I put in posters and such. You can guess the age of this person and possibly figure out their gender with all of these trinkets, as well as their preferences.

"Elemental" Superhero Set (1?)

"Elemental" Superhero Set (1?)
The first person I put together is the flame-based one. I wanted to put together a practical outfit, but then I found those sunglasses. The strange thing is that there's been some designs with those kind of sunglasses. Trying to come up with a power-based hero, I was easily amused with the transparency of fire. His cape is actually MADE of fire!

The next person is the lightning-based character. It's similar to the designs of older outfits especially since I used the same mask. It's obviously for the same character I have in mind, but now I can show that he actually has lightning powers, something I've never done with the previous submissions I've put together.

The third character I put together is the plant-based person. I actually went with the green coloring first, then I decided to make her plant-based. While discussing with a friend, I thought of a slightly unique idea for powers. She controls anything that has cell walls, which means she'd immediately notice her control over plants. Mushrooms (fungi) would be next. That would actually explain why mushrooms would be lumped in with plants even though they're not. The next interesting step would be controlling bacteria, which would be difficult to determine. She would have to look under a microscope and somehow realize what she viewing isn't Brownian motion or drift. Anyway, she was originally going to have a baseball bat (it's made of wood) but the walking stick looked more natural. There's still a bokken on her back. She was also supposed to have a cactus bracelet, but the creative juices made me go in a different direction. The rose has hidden thorns, but that's only because I say so. I just wish there was also a cactus as well, but I can draw that on my own. Outside of this site.

The final person I put together is the water/ice -based character. I think I avoided the trope of giving the character a snow-themed outfit, though it's still light enough to be the nearly-naked type. She also controls water though. Despite the slight possible ice- skater look, she's more of a dancer, which is great with the water powers. Either way, water works. She can control water (obviously), but it can also be in the form of mist, icicles, and probably the hardest to form if someone controlled water, snowballs!
